Over the past few days you've likely seen several of your liberal friends advocating that you contact Senator Shelley Moore Capito's office to voice your request that she vote against the confirmation of DeVos for Secretary of Education. Friends, that process works the same for those of us who wish to see her confirmed.
Here's what you can do:
Call Senator Capito's office at 202-224-6472
State your name, city and zip code. Also, it is suggested that say that you do not require a response or reply. This saves time as they won't have to log any reply contact info.
Then SUCCINCTLY state your position. They don't need your reasoning, your emotion, or your soliloquy. As simple as, "I support the confirmation of Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education" will do. Nothing more.
Please remember to thank the person in the other end of the phone for their service and always be polite and courteous.
