Today, we learned via Legislative Press Release that District 51st Delegate Amanda Pasdon will resgin her seat in the West Virginia House of Delegates effective January 1, 2016. Delegate Pasdon was first elected to the WV House of Delegates in 2010 and reelected in 2012 and 2014. She served as the Chair of the House Education Committee. She also served in the following committees: Banking & Insurance, Health & Human Resources, Rules, and Small Business Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. As an incumbent in 2014, Delegate Pasdon received 9.006 votes in the district-wide multi-member district election. She was a vocal advocate for the issues facing Monongalia County and she will be missed. Thank you, Amanda, for your service!
